From 22 to 25 October, BolognaFiere will host Europe’s largest show dedicated to historic motoring. Among the first highlights of the 2026 edition are the Icons of Speed thematic exhibition, new international entries in the market area, the return of Honda Classic, Prestige Bikes, the Italian Motorcycle Championship, and an increasingly rich programme dedicated to culture, heritage and collecting.

Auto e Moto d’Epoca is preparing to return to BolognaFiere from 22 to 25 October 2026 with a new edition that confirms the continued growth and international development of Europe’s most important event dedicated to historic vehicles. With more than 235,000 square metres of exhibition space, 14 halls, over 5,000 vehicles and visitors from 40 countries, Auto e Moto d’Epoca has become one of the leading international events for collectors, dealers, automotive manufacturers, museums, clubs and industry professionals.
The growth achieved in recent years, with a constant increase in the international presence of exhibitors and visitors, confirms the increasingly central role of the event within the European Classic vehicle market. This position has been further strengthened by Intermeeting’s participation in the main international events of the sector and by new collaborations developed with leading European partners. “Over the past few years, Auto e Moto d’Epoca has grown steadily, becoming the European reference point for the sector,” says Luciano Rizzi, CEO of Intermeeting. “Our ambition is to continue developing an event that combines the strength of the market with highlevel international cultural content, offering collectors, professionals and enthusiasts from all over the world new reasons to visit Bologna every year.”

The first highlights of the 2026 edition. Among the most anticipated events of the new edition is the debut of Icons of Speed, the major new thematic exhibition dedicated to endurance racing. The exhibition journey will guide visitors through more than half a century of endurance competition history, one of the disciplines that has contributed most to the technical and sporting evolution of the automobile. From the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans to iconic international races such as the Nürburgring, Monza and Daytona, and through to the modern FIA World Endurance Championship, the exhibition will explore the role of endurance racing as a laboratory for innovation, where reliability, performance and technological research have defined new design frontiers.
At the heart of the exhibition will be the cars that transformed endurance into a true motorsport legend: machines created to face extreme conditions, capable of maintaining high performance over many consecutive hours and becoming symbols of the ingenuity of the world’s leading manufacturers. Twelve cars will be gathered in the entrance hall of Via Costituzione, while other protagonists will be displayed throughout the exhibition centre, creating a widespread journey through the vehicles that shaped different eras of endurance racing. Among the cars already confirmed are genuine motorsport icons, including the Bentley EXP Speed 8, which finished third overall at the 2001 24 Hours of Le Mans; the Sauber C9, 1989 World Endurance Champion and Le Mans winner; and the Porsche 956 Rothmans, one of the defining cars of the Group C era and one of the most iconic machines in endurance racing history. All three vehicles come from the Nationales Automuseum – The Loh Collection.
Also on display will be the Lancia LC2, the Italian prototype developed to challenge for top honours in the World Endurance Championship during the 1980s; the Maserati MC12 Corsa; and the extremely rare Bugatti EB110 Le Mans, built as a one-off specifically to compete in the legendary French endurance classic. The selection of Icons of Speed will highlight not only the collectible value of the cars on display, but also the technical and engineering heritage they represent: from the evolution of aerodynamics to the use of innovative materials, from engine solutions to electronic performance management.
Further vehicles featured in the exhibition will be revealed closer to the event. Rally heritage and the legends of Group B. Motorsport rallying will also play a leading role thanks to the collaboration with Rallylegend, which will bring to Auto e Moto d’Epoca an exhibition dedicated to the legendary Group B cars, protagonists of one of the most fascinating eras in rally history. For years, Auto e Moto d’Epoca has taken part in the main European appointments dedicated to historic vehicles, with the aim of promoting the Bologna show and developing relationships with international dealers and industry professionals. This strategy continues to deliver concrete results: the presence of foreign exhibitors grows year after year, confirming Bologna as the reference platform for the European classic vehicle market. Among the new features of the 2026 edition is the debut of the prestigious Galleria Aaldering, while important international operators such as Metropole and OldtimerFarm have already confirmed their participation, demonstrating the growing interest of the European market in the event. The internationalisation process is further strengthened through the partnership with InterClassics Brussels, which will bring to Bologna a dedicated area for exhibitors from the Belgian event and will also allow Italian operators to be protagonists in Brussels through a dedicated exhibition space. Heritage, manufacturers and automotive culture. Once again in 2026, the show will host major protagonists from the heritage world. Among automotive manufacturers, the presence of Stellantis with the Alfa Romeo brand has already been confirmed.
The event will also welcome back the Motor Valley Pavilion, dedicated to the excellence of Emilia-Romagna’s automotive industry, the dedicated ACI area, the ASI Village, a key reference point for federated clubs, historic registers and the preservation of Italy’s motoring heritage. New highlights for the two-wheel world. Alongside the confirmation of Honda Classic, following the success of last year’s edition, the 2026 show introduces Prestige Bikes, a new area dedicated to motorcycles from private collections. Located in Hall 31, the exhibition will bring together a selection of motorcycles chosen by the organisers for their historic, technical and collectible value, creating an exclusive setting dedicated to enthusiasts and collectors of two-wheeled vehicles.
The Italian Motorcycle Championship – Custom Bike Show will also return for the second consecutive year. Organised by Terre di Moto, it is the first Italian championship dedicated to custom motorcycles based on historic platforms. The customised motorcycles, strictly built on models produced before 2006, will compete in different categories – from Café Racer to Scrambler, Bagger and Freestyle – transforming Bologna into one of Italy’s leading events dedicated to customisation culture. European Corvette Day. Among the special events of the 2026 edition will be the European Corvette Day – Italy, organised in collaboration with the National Corvette Museum in Kentucky and the CNO American Motors Club. On 25 October, the show will host one of the most important European gatherings dedicated to the Corvette, open to all generations of the legendary American sports car, from the first C1 of 1953 to the latest C8 models.
For the first time, the official stand of the National Corvette Museum will also be present in Bologna, further confirming the growing international relevance of the event. Spare parts, collectibles and special experiences. The event will once again feature the spare parts market, one of the most sought-after and appreciated areas of Auto e Moto d’Epoca, together with model cars, memorabilia and automotive collectibles. Once again this year, Time on Show, the leading event dedicated to vintage and collectible watches organised by BolognaFiere in the Gallery Hall, will also take place.
